- To vitalize the organic cooperation between member enterprises

- To promote employment maintenance and human resources exchange between member enterprises

- To promote information exchange and promotion activities between member enterprises

- To promote the interest protection and sound development of member enterprises and to make suggestions to Korean government

- To get opinions on principal issues on GIC and prepare policy suggestions

- To prepare Joint projects for member enterprises

- To prepare, operate and manage a fund or capital for the business support of the member enterprises

- To implement Projects/businesses consigned by the government, local government or relevant authorities

- To install and operate the joint logistics facility and welfare facilities for member enterprises

- To prepare others for the economic improvement and development of the member enterprises and the development of the GIC

< Major Performances >

Policy suggestion through conferences with Korean government and local governments (over 20 times a year)

Policy suggestion through conferences with members of National Assembly (over 10 times a year)

Conferences with relevant authorities such as Kaeseong Industrial District Management Committee (KIDMAC), Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), etc.

Regular and extraordinary general meeting (2~4 times a year), regular and extraordinary meeting of board of directors (3~6 times a year)

Support for participation in diverse exhibitions fairs such as World Korean Business Convention, Busan International Fiber-Shoes Fashion Exhibition, etc.

Exhibition/fair for Korean products from GIC arranged by National Assembly (once a year)

Publishing booklets about GIC (once a year) and others

Implementation of diverse surveys on minimum wage for North Koreas workers, difficulties of tenants in GIC, etc.

Support for New Year Ceremony, Year-end Farewell Party, and athletic meetings for the friendship promotion among entrepreneurs and South Korean workers, etc.

Activities to support tenants in GIC regarding FTA (diverse seminars, suggestions to government, etc.)

Establishment of “GIC Manufacturers Cooperative” (some members of CAGIC joined.) to promote sales of the members.
